It’s a short drive to Witches Craig just outside Stirling at the foot of the Ochil Hills.
We arrived early, but not long before sunset and pitched up on pitch 9 which backs onto the hills.
Dinner was a sausage casserole cooked in a Trangia billy pot - sausages, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, beans, celery, chorizo and chopped tomatoes!
We had prechopped most of the veg and cooked the sausage in advance.
It cooked up on the hob nicely in a 4.5l Trangia Billy pot, I was surprised by how easily the relatively thin pot cooked the meal, only took around 30-40 minutes, and we had it with some tasty bread to mop up the sauce.
Our in-van internet was getting a good signal and so we set about using up our monthly allowance by catching up on some streaming TV before crashing in our bed.
