Home from Killin

Sunday 11th August 2024

We woke to beautiful sunshine, and Killin looks much nicer in the sun.

We had a light breakfast of yoghurt and granola, and watched a bit of TV.

As always, Sundays are departure days on campsites, weekenders like us breaking down their units and moving on, and the site was busy with folks preparing to leave.

The weather was so nice, we really wanted to stay another night, and if it wasn’t for the fact that it was a nearly two hour drive home, we might have asked to stay another night (there was plenty of space).

It’s amazing how much of a difference sunshine makes to a place, Loch Tay was majestic in the sun.

We packed up and headed home via a look at a couple of new motorhomes, but no change there yet…
