Sunday 4th August 2024

We got up after 8am, it had rained overnight.

Jumped into the shower on the site, nice and clean, and good ratio of showers to pitches.

A light breakfast of strawberries and honey yoghurt with pancakes.

We tidied up, and discovered a water leak, not quite sure what’s leaking, somewhere around the water pump, so we’ll need to get that fixed.

A bit annoying after it had a hab check four weeks ago…

Oh, and I snapped one of the movable lights off last night, didn’t hit it too hard attempting to switch it on, but enough to break the little connection inside.

So…we packed up, and headed home up the A72, passed through Innerleithen, Peebles and Biggar.

Peebles looked really nice, so we’ll be returning there at some point, hopefully soon.

Next trip is next weekend, back to Killin which we haven’t been to for almost two years.
