I woke up briefly for a drink of water overnight and slept ‘til after 8am, something I never do at home!

A shower in the great facilities, and breakfast from the on-site catering van, sausage, egg and bacon for me, while Gayle opted for black pudding and egg, well worth the money, both were great sandwiches.

It was hot in the sun, so we had to arrange the chairs to give us a bit of shade.

We relaxed after breakfast, with the background hubbub of folks breaking down tents and clearing out pods and campervans, wish we could have stayed another day.

We headed home, via a quick stop off at a local Motorhome dealer which at least allowed us to rule out a favoured option (too narrow bed wise) it’s a straight road for us, up the M6 and then almost the entire M74, a beautiful drive in the sunshine.

We picked up light lunch and dinner for a couple of days and headed to finish off a very relaxing weekend in the garden 🙂

This was one of the best sites we’ve been to, it’s amazing how much of an impact the sun has.
